Designed for total high containment, PREXIMA THC ensures high flexibility with maximum reliability. Easily integrated with other equipment, PREXIMA THC fits seamlessly into solid dose processing lines.

IMA PREXIMA THC is suitable for R&D applications, pilot batches and production support, also allowing the testing of HAPI. Limited surfaces in contact with the product, sealed doors and negative pressure inside the processing area all ensure both operators’ and environmental safety. Access to the internal part of the machine is achieved via glove ports.

  • Outstanding machine configuration flexibility: special turret of 8 stations (4B + 4D).
  • Pre-compression and main compression forces are similar to production machines for good scale-up.

Launched on the market in 1995, COMPRIMA is still the state of the art in tableting thanks to its innovative compression system. COMPRIMA ensures yields up to 99.5% with maximum tablet quality.

COMPRIMA is based on an innovative system for powder feeding. The powder is fed thanks to the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the turret, ensuring accurate feeding of the dies without the risk of powder mix segregation. Centrifugal die filling guarantees maximum production speeds, even with oblong or shaped tablets.

  • Accurate feeding of the dies through specially shaped radial channels: the powder is always contained in a closed path, minimizing product loss.
  • Isolation of the processing area, thanks to the use of seals and bellows: no risk of powder contamination.
  • Clean In Place system for a fully automatic and validatable cleaning cycle.
IMA LUMS

IMA LUMS Magnesium Stearate dispensing unit

LUMS is IMA Lubrication Unit for Magnesium Stearate able to handle a variety of lubricant powders. Flexible and very accurate, it can be connected to all tablet presses.

LUMS feeds a variety of lubricant powders directly over the die table by means of an atomizing system. The position of the lubricant nozzle allows to uniformly coats all surfaces of the tablet press tools that are in contact with the powder.

  • Efficient handling of effervescent tablets.
  • Easier compression of powders without pre-blended lubricant.
  • Reduction of ejection forces to preserve cams and tooling.
