PPS A/S Supplier Code of Conduct
PPS A/S is committed to achieving the highest ethical and legal standards across our company and supply chain, and our commitment to do so is set out in our Company Code of Conduct, available here.
The relationship with our partners and suppliers is an important component of our commitment to conducting business ethically and sustainably. As part of this commitment, we seek to extend these standards to all our suppliers and other business partners. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum mandatory requirements for doing business with PPS.
PPS continues to work with our suppliers and partners not only to meet these minimum requirements but also to continuously improve in line with industry best practices. PPS expects suppliers to actively engage in dialogue and collaboration with PPS to address any concerns or suggestions related to responsible business practices.
Legal Compliance
Suppliers are expected to conduct their businesses in an ethically responsible manner and must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations relevant to their operations and the products or services they provide.
In addition, suppliers must comply with international conventions and principles, including those of the UN Global Compact, and support the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)[i].
UN Global Compact 10 principles
Human Rights
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Labor
Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining,
Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour,
Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour, and
Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Environment
Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges,
Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility, and
Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Anti-Corruption
Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
Suppliers shall handle confidential information and personal data with the utmost care and in compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Suppliers shall implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Compliance and Consequences
Suppliers are expected to acknowledge and comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct. Non-compliance with this Code of Conduct may result in appropriate actions, including termination of the supplier relationship.
