At PPS, we work with companies in highly regulated industries; from pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotech to advanced packaging and automation. In these sectors, documentation, transparency, and accountability aren’t just internal matters. They are expected throughout the supply chain.

That’s why we decided to benchmark our own efforts through EcoVadis – one of the world’s leading providers of business sustainability ratings.

We completed our first EcoVadis assessment in 2023.
We improved across key areas in 2024.
And in 2025, we were awarded our first Bronze Medal – a recognition of measurable progress.

Why EcoVadis – and why now?

For us, sustainability isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about being a responsible and reliable partner.

Many of our customers – especially in pharma and life sciences – work with defined sustainability goals and require documentation from their suppliers. EcoVadis gives us a structured, independent, and recognized way to show how we perform across four key areas:

• Environment
• Labour & Human Rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable Procurement

2025 result: a bronze medal, based on real improvement

In the 2025 assessment, PPS achieved an overall score of 67/100 and was placed in the 80th percentile globally among all companies assessed by EcoVadis over the past 12 months.

A Bronze Medal is awarded to companies in the top 35% across all industries.

More importantly, the score shows that the work we’ve done over the past two years has had an impact.

What we’ve learned

One of the key insights from the EcoVadis process is that intentions are not enough. What counts is structure, documentation, and follow-through.

The assessment has helped us:

• Formalize policies that were previously implicit
• Establish new reporting routines for key ESG areas
• Identify blind spots – especially in areas like sustainable procurement and ethics training

What’s next

We’re pleased with the 2025 results, but we’re not done yet.

Looking ahead, we will:

• Expand ESG reporting and documentation internally
• Strengthen supplier screening and followup
• Explore relevant certifications in selected areas
• Continue training and awareness across teams
